Klee Trophy’
Paul Klee was one of the talented instructors at the Bauhaus. This piece is a central portion of a painting from his Ancient Sound series. It is in no way exact in colours and relative grid sizes. With my abilities in colour and painting, my goal was recognition. This was derived from Paul Klee.
At the moment it hangs just above a heating grate. When the furnace comes on, the panels lightly flutter in the warm air.

Paper, aluminium substrate, ink, wood, brass rod and cord.
